- c) After placing each sticker, students say the word aloud: lion, desert fox, polar bear, grassland, desert, Arctic.
3. Workbook pg 10 — Review
- Have a look at the three places (grassland, desert, Arctic) and the animal stickers. Ask students to match the animals to their homes.
- Discuss with the students afterwards: “Where does the lion live?” “Who lives in the cold, icy place?” “Does the camel live in the ocean?”
4. Workbook pg 11 — Review
- Have a look at the grassland picture and find the hidden friends (in animal costumes). Ask the students to circle them and ask: “Who is hiding in the tree?” “Can you find the Roo zebra?” “How many lions can you see?”
5. Workbook pg 12 — I Can Say
- a) Ask and answer with a partner. Guide students to use the word bank to practice the dialogue. Student A: “Where do you want to live?” Student B: “I want to live in the Arctic. It’s cold and icy.” Have students switch roles.
