1. Warm-Up
Hello Song · “How are you?” · “How’s the weather today?” · Day of the week check
2. Student book pg 24 — introduce what the project will be
- a) Introduce the craft and how to do it, do it together with the students and help them if necessary.
- b) The craft is creating a paper mache emoji (e.g. a smiling-face-shaped suncatcher).
3. During the craft
- Ask questions such as: “Are you enjoying the craft?” “Can you describe what you’re making?” “What colors are you using?” “What materials are you using?” “Is this craft easy or hard for you?” “Are you having fun?”
4. Show and tell
- Have a show and tell where students introduce their craft to their friends. Focus on simple phrases such as “my shoes are pink” or “this part is blue”. Be sure to congratulate them afterwards and get the other students to applaud so that they don’t feel nervous showing their craft.
- 5. This craft may change if materials are not available.

2. Workbook pg 10 — Review
- Have a look at the picture and find the differences. Discuss with the students afterwards and ask questions such as: “What character is on the stage?” “What should this person be saying?”
3. Workbook pg 11 — Review
- a) Have students practice the written dialogue. Students should get into teams of 2 and practice asking each other “How do you feel?”
- b) Then ask them questions such as: “Who feels happy right now?” “Who feels sad right now?” “What do you feel?”
4. Student book review pg. 25
- a) Complete the student book review page.
- b) Put stickers in the correct place.
4. Vocabulary game — “Say it back”
- a) Tell students you’re going to say a list of words (you can use vocabulary they’ve recently learned).
- b) Ask them to listen carefully and repeat the words back in the same order.
- c) Start with just 2 words.
- d) Increase the number of words gradually (up to 4 or 5) as students get better. You say “Glad, blue” → students repeat “Glad, blue.” You say “Glad, blue, glass” → students repeat “Glad, blue, glass.”
6. Wrap-up
- Finish the class with the “Goodbye Song”.
